Caroline Goorney

Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and worked in private practice firms in the East Midlands and North East, increasingly specialising in family law. After setting up her own firm she was able to concentrate on this area of expertise, also offering Family Mediation and Collaborative Law as well as Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

As a sole practitioner she has found that her clients appreciate the personal, professional and approachable service she offers. As a collaborative lawyer she works closely with other colleagues to help clients achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their family. She has always believed in alternative dispute resolution options where family and relationships are concerned and sees court action only as a last resort.

Outside of work Caroline enjoys amateur dramatics, creative writing and travel.
